Alfa Laval, a Swedish firm specializing warmth switch, centrifugal separation and fluid dealing with, and Aalborg CSP, a concentrated solar power expertise firm, have shaped a three way partnership to develop Long Duration Energy Storage (LDES) options.
Alfa Laval and Aalborg CSP’s collaboration goals to reinforce competence, product improvement and software information in molten salt warmth exchanger expertise with a view to drive the development of long-duration energy storage warmth exchanger options.
The three way partnership, that might be named Alfa Laval Aalborg Header-coil A/S, will permit Alfa Laval to increase its experience and product choices in molten salt warmth exchanger expertise. The signing of the three way partnership settlement marks an essential milestone of their pursuit of progressive and environment friendly energy storage applied sciences.
“By joining forces with Aalborg CSP, we are taking a significant step towards achieving our shared vision of a sustainable energy future,” says Thomas Moller, president of the energy division at Alfa Laval. “Together, we will drive the development of cutting-edge long duration energy storage solutions, in the belief that to solve some of the big challenges we are facing, we need to combine knowledge and resources.”
