BASF Indicators VPPAs to Present 250 MW of Renewable Energy for Over 20 Websites

BASF has entered into digital power buy agreements (VPPA) for wind and solar power totaling 250 MW to power its websites throughout the United States. They are designed to offset the carbon-intensive grid-supplied electrical energy getting used at greater than 20 of BASF’s manufacturing websites in a number of states throughout the nation, from Texas to Michigan.

The mixed agreements for the output of 250 MW of renewable technology capability will end result within the buy of greater than 660,000 MWh of electrical energy per 12 months.
