Genie Solar Energy, a developer of business and neighborhood solar initiatives, has damaged floor on the development of a 4 MW neighborhood solar array in Perry, NY.
The mission will comprise roughly 9,000 panels. With a projected annual manufacturing of over 5,000 MWh, it can generate electrical energy enough to power over 440 houses whereas offsetting over 3,500 metric tons of carbon emissions yearly.
Genie Solar expects to finish building of the array later this yr. To facilitate the mission’s reference to the native electrical grid, Genie Solar pays for the mission’s required grid interconnection upgrades. That work should be carried out by the native utility, National Grid, with the timing decided by its skill to schedule and full the work.
