Matrix Renewables and rPlus Energies lately held a groundbreaking ceremony for Pleasant Valley Solar, the 200 MW AC/261 MW DC solar challenge in Ada County, Idaho. Guests included landowners, challenge companions, native elected officers, challenge distributors and members of the group.
Once it’s operational, the challenge would be the largest solar facility in Idaho Power’s service territory and can ship output into the identical grid that helps Meta’s new information heart in Kuna, Idaho.
Matrix Renewables acquired a controlling curiosity in Pleasant Valley Solar from rPlus Energies earlier this summer time. rPlus Energies, the unique developer of the Project, stays as minority curiosity proprietor within the challenge.
