Watlington Solar
RWE, a renewable energy firm, has signed eight long-term utility-scale power buy agreements (PPAs) with Dominion Energy Virginia for seven solar initiatives within the state totaling greater than 300 MW able to producing greater than 750,000 MWh of technology.

The utility-scale challenge portfolio in Virginia consists of:
- Pleasant Hill Solar: 20 MW positioned within the City of Suffolk – got here on-line in April.
- Watlington Solar: 20 MW positioned in Halifax County – got here on-line in June.
- Wythe County Solar: 75 MW positioned in Wythe County – beneath development and anticipated to be on-line in 2024.
- Switchgrass Solar: 69 MW positioned in Suffolk County – in growth.
- 360 Solar: 52 MW positioned in Chesterfield County – in growth.
- Groves Solar: 15 MW positioned in Westmoreland County – in growth.
- Harrisonburg Solar: 15 MW positioned in Rockingham County – in growth.
Each challenge has a PPA in place with Dominion Energy Virginia, the regulated utility firm offering electrical energy to greater than 2.8 million clients within the state. RWE Clean Energy will function the long-term owner-operator of every challenge.
Together this portfolio of initiatives has the capability to power greater than 70,000 properties within the Old Dominion state.
