Valmont Industries Inc. and Convert Italia, a Valmont Company and provider of single-axis solar trackers, are launching the brand new Valmont Solar model. Unique to the model partnership between Valmont and Convert is the flexibility to produce whole grid options, along with its flagship solar tracker product line. Thanks to a full line of engineered merchandise, from transmission and distribution to substation packaging and renewable technology, Valmont Solar has the flexibility to supply bundled choices to companions.
“Europe is seeing unprecedented times when it comes to energy,” says Matteo Demofonti, Valmont Solar’s European enterprise line supervisor. “On one hand, Europe has aggressive renewable energy targets to meet by 2025. On the other hand, supply chain and energy market volatility is causing a lot of uncertainty. The time is perfect for a company like Valmont to leverage their more than 75 years of expertise to meet these challenges.”
Valmont Solar will supply options for the PV business in European, Latin American and North American markets.

Valmont Solar’s primary product, the Convert Single Axis Tracker, is a solar tracker with greater than 15 years of efficiency within the area. Convert Trackers improve effectivity by following the solar because it strikes throughout the sky and have as much as a 25% efficiency improve in comparison with a 1 MW mission utilizing fixed-in-place solar racks.
